I'd have gone with Cheaney for these, based on their similarity to other boots that they've made, but the '88' and the writing inside makes me think Sargent...They actually look like a revamped version of the Norwood boot they did a few years back.

I came across this odd Ralph Lauren tie. What's odd about it is the fabric appears to be Stefano Ricci silk. Do other brands sometimes use Stefano Ricci silk or did someone randomly sew on a Ralph Lauren tag to the tie?

Well, considering it's made in Switzerland and that Zegna has been making Gucci for a long time, that's my best guess.
