HOF: Labels, heels and nail patterns - Secrets to ID the maker - Page 84

Are they opera pumps, perchance?  If so, I had a pair of Brooks English opera pumps, that I later confirmed were, indeed, Church's, that look pretty much identical to that.

Patrick Hellmann Collection suit. The back of the label says: "Made in U.E. Iva PT".

Anyone recognize this shoe logo? I only can see a couple parts. It is drawn pretty close to scale as far as proximity of text and graphic and is in the correct shape.

Some similarities to Belvest....anyone know who?

are you sure those aren't lady shoes? 9 1/2 B. women's shoes are usually B width...

While I can't speak for the shoes in question, I can say that I see B width mens shoes quite often.

I didn't see any other markings. I'll check again when I have a chance and post a picture if I find anything.

They're definitely men's shoes. That's my size and they fit me.

Back in the day, Polo sold narrow-width shoes, along with mediums. So did Church's, pre-Prada. Now, it's very hard to find narrow English shoes, other than vintage pairs, like these. From time to time, I'll see Brooks' C&J Peals in a B width, but otherwise, the pickings are slim.

Grenson? Dunno why I'm unsure, but my mind has gone blank with these shoes, made for New & Lingwood:

Picked up these shell longwings recently, but I have no idea who makes them - any thoughts? Capnwes has already ruled out Hanover for Bostonian.

Notice the white contrast stitching:

These are the only markings, inside or out:

x-post from thrift thread

Hey team,

A little help please. Spotted this label in a consignment store and thought it was nice but not 100% on the maker.

The only visible label was one identical to this link. So i know it's made in Naples and got excited when i saw the red dot over the "i" but not sure if this indicates Kiton or does that mean nothing at all?

Anyone recognize the fabric tag that was in said jacket?

Thanks

If it's recent, it might be Tombolini. They've been making alot of the HRosen 'Made in Italy' pieces.

I'm completely blanking on this one...any help?

That's an Armani Collezioni tag (relatively recent).

You can tell by the Di Matalica inscription on the side. Newer Collezioni pieces use a generica GAO tag now.

I think the actual manufacturer of the suit in your tag pic is called 'fasci' or something; they have their own suits on yoox once in a while.

Anyone know the maker of these Ralph Lauren Barnstable boots? The only UK makes I know that RL has used are C&J and EG...

Thanks!
