Just a point of clarification; manager is/was female and have no idea where you are getting ETOH abuse from.

20 years ago this wouldn't have been a big deal, but today this can become a meme in less than 24 hours. A company like BMW isnt going to take kindly to having their name associated with that kind of asshole behavior. Maybe he doesn't lose his internship, but its not a plus on his performance review.

Also, i bet we have his Facebook page by Monday.

I sent a similar email to my manager on my last day at my old job (except I also CC'd the entire department). I was working in industry I vowed never to go near ever again and it was directed to the most incompetent manager I had ever encountered. Repercussions? I was blacklisted by the recruitment agency who recruited me. Do I regret sending the email? Not for a second - it was one of the most liberating things I've ever done.

*glances at ripples in his glass of water*

Oh no! It's Thesaurus Rex!

This is why I have the Plain Speech thread. Stuff like this make people look like dumbasses.

god damn i tried to read that but the writing was impenetrable. I got a headache trying to keep all the unnecessary clauses and meanderings straight. Does he think this makes him look intelligent?
