Pretty much same here. I wear white tees all the time and have only rarely experienced stains. And the few times I did, they came right out using one of those pre-laundry detergents such as Zout.

One of the advantages of wearing a white tee is that you're likely to sweat less than someone whom insists on wearing a L/S button down shirt. I am always surprised how when visiting large US cities outside of the West Coast how common it is for guys to be wearing L/S button down shirts in casual environments even in 100F weather.

Even worse are the guys wearing suits in this kind of weather, then going inside their icy 72F air conditioned office buildings. I think it is safe to say a huge amount of energy is wasted in many of these cities keeping offices at the ideal temperature to support so-called professional attire.

Look at wjk. Any of their tee models which are priced around 10,000 yen or above tend to be thick and do not look like undershirts. In particular their SS11 "tack tee" has insanely thick fabric-- it can even be worn tight without showing your nipples.

But two caveats beyond the high price.....

Their shirts often have raw seams, exposed seams, and other details that impart their own style more so than a Hanes or Alternative Apparel tee would. Although I would argue this is part of what helps them look better when worn solo.

Their tiny sizing is unlikely to support anything larger than a 37" chest.

the tack tee seems to retail under 10,000 yen, maybe you had in mind the 'tack compact jersey' which seems to be a kind of knitwear?

regardless, looks like nice stuff ...
aloharag used to carry them in their ny store, but dunno about now
