Offered for sale is a rare tuxedo from Edward Sexton of Savile Row. This was a bespoke order for Wilkes Bashford, of the eponymous San Francisco retailer.
It will fit a 40 Regular to Short, approximately. Two-piece Edward Sexton bespoke suits start at $6000-$7000.

The Details
  • Classic one-button peak-lapel cut with plain back
  • Four-button shawl-collar vest with buckle back
  • Trousers cut with shallow pleats and brace buttons
  • Satin facing on the lapels and trouser stripes
  • Functional sleeve buttons
  • Single rear trouser pocket with mother-of-pearl button

Measurements
  • Chest - 21" underarm-to-underarm
  • Shoulders - 18" across
  • Sleeves - 24" from shoulder-to-cuff
  • Jacket Waist - 19" across
  • Length - 31" from bottom-of-collar

  • Trouser Waist - 33 + 2"
  • Inseam - 29 + 1.5"
  • Front Rise - 12"
  • Hem - 9" across, flat

Condition

Worn sparingly, in excellent condition. No shine present on the sleeves or trousers. The inseam can be lengthened without risk of showing wear marks from the previous hem.

Note the slant on the plain bottom trousers. Evidentially Edward Sexton knows how to make a proper plain bottom without a break. I wish I were size 40

It's not that difficult—when one gets their trousers hemmed, ask for it to be at an angle so it's longer at the back, than the front. It helps keep non-cuffed trousers flailing around when one walks.
