Just got the McTavish from Endless and you can consider me a fan. They'll get plenty of casual use with jeans.

Hate to say it, as a guy with a couple of AE shoes that I love, but the Florsheim Veblen is a much more attractive version of this idea.

Not even close. No similar shade of leather, leather looks cheaper than AE, and it's a blucher.

FWIW, the Veblens use Horween leather. No idea what the AEs use.
