I have no direct experience with B.Nelson, but looking at their website, it states that re-soling costs $90. There's a chance that might be out of date, and that they now charge $100, or quite possibly Dainite attracts an upcharge of $10 over regular soles - I don't know.
What I can also see on the website is that "refinishing" the upper costs an extra $25 - so even if the website's resoling cost of $90 is current, it would have cost you $115 in total to have the soles replaced and the upper refinished. Therefore, it doesn't sound as though you were overcharged.
Did you happen to actually ask the staff member at B.Nelson about the work when you picked up the shoes, or did you contact them afterwards to enquire about the pricing and the refinishing, or lack thereof? Or did you just decide to complain on an internet forum instead of actually speaking to the business directly to clear up any confusion before making a complaint??
