Barbour Jackets

Hey guys, what do you think of the Barbour Jackets, Im looking at the Bedale with a hood, as Im not so keen on the cord collar. I was thinking about getting the one from Jcrew, when I get a discount code. That way I can return it somewhere in the US ( most sellers in UK). Im looking for something that has a nice fit and that will last a long time. Let me know your thoughts, or if you know of an alternative.

The hood on my Bedale pops off really easily. To the point where i was in Iceland last week and the wind made it come unsnapped.
