I'd add Groundhog Day to the list.
There was a student film I made in college for a Philosophy class, about a soldier in WWII contemplating eating a banana. I did it in black and white and used some instrumental french music for the background. I think it's my greatest movie thus far.
The Goonies .. not because it is "the best movie", but it is one movie I can watch at any time, anywhere, and have a good time.
I can't believe no one has said Gladiator yet. Probably the most quotable movie of all time.

I believe that award belongs to Anchorman.
The Big Lebowski blows them both out of the water in terms of quotability. I would also contend that it is a superior film in most respects. (I consider Gladiator nonetheless to be a very good movie; Anchorman is ****.)
