Best Compact Digital Camera Opinions - Page 2

Casio Exilim Zoom cameras, in my experience, are the best combat digital cameras. I wrote a long response about why they're awesome in another thread started by SGladwell. nice call on the D80, zjpj. I bought one myself about a month ago. As of right now I'm eating a Chipotle burrito with no guacomole on it though, because I fear my debit card may be declined if I tack on the extra $1.40. Yet still, I would rather starve than go without my D80.

I thought I was the only person that happened to.

Thank you for all the responses.

Ah yes...Same here. I like being able to view pics on my Palm and upload them if need be...

The wonders of SD.

Image quality :Canon Elph. Stay away from Canon Ixus-it is not the same camera in the different body. SD400 Elph si the best camera for quality of pics.

Personally I switched to Panasonic Lumix 6mp because it is the widest angle compact on the market. Wide angle is important to me, since I use my camera mostly for travel photos. Panasonic Lumix DMC gets better panoramic shots of nature and architecture than all of other cameras.
As far as noise (grainy photos) is concerned, set your ISO to 50 and leave it there and never ever touch it again Digital cameras are not good for any other speed. Also, if you’re not planning to make LARGE prints don't worry about MP numbers. Anything over 4MP is enough for photos that you store on your computer and send via e-mail.
