Acting looks like it be good. References to the big boys of wall street will be expected.

I am interested but I am starting to get tired of seeing so many movies/documentaries about how the recession came to be.

Anyone read the book? Andrew R. Sorkin seems levelheaded. I like him on Morning Joe.

It's a film. Same guy that did LA Confidential and Wonder Boys. So hopefully it's up to par with those films.

They got some pretty good lookalikes for all of the characters.

Just watched it tonight. I thought it was very good. Very tense and suspensful even though you knew what would happen in the end.

Eh, I saw it a couple nights ago and was really disappointed. I'm not sure why they didn't work with the journalist (Sorkin?) who wrote it and develop it into a series. The ensemble cast was spread too thin, no one had enough of a narrative for you to give a shit about any particular individual, the dialog could be appallingly and conveniently explanatory at times, and the use of the score to inflate all these old white men essentially talking about the catastrophic implications of it all was really hammy. Fuck.

Very good book. Everyone was greedy and thought they were indestructible. They drank too much cool-aid

I think Fuld mixed his cool-aid with anti-freeze and cyanide.

I didn't think the ending was very good. They should have had a complete market crash or something.
