We should hit up Boka next time you're in town. It's a great place, and one is relatively free to spend as much or as little as they choose.

Moto was a total waste of time and money, but otherwise I really enjoyed my meals.

I was going to facepalm^2 you for going to Moto, but then I see that you came out of it with the correct opinion.

Yeah. I lived in Chicago for years and constantly debated going. Whenever I had the money, I just went to Alinea or CTs or Avenues instead (L20 wasn't open yet) and so it was the one place in the city I hadn't tried that I thought I should. Oops.

Yeah yeah... Actually the Pig the other night with Lou was pretty good. That other place we went to last time with Ron was also good. But I want some Michelin star exposure !!

Are you ok? That smiley face isn't you.

But yeah, it's pretty shocking to come here once a month, with your dining habits in NYC, and not visit any of these places. Pound for pound, Chicago beats New York pretty handily in fine dining. It isn't even fair.

< is this better?

Reality is I'm usually there for daytrips (business lunch in there) or one night (rarely two) and I get there late and nothing is really planned too well. Half of the times, I just get room service. The other half I get one of my Chicago SF samaritans to babysit me for a dinner or drink. (oops)
