I can wait a few days before I make a final decision on it all.

I'd go modern couch shopping with you, or just couch shopping with you this weekend. I'm drunk and it's late or I'd just send you a text. I think I could convenience you to go more contemporary on a sofa than you are ok with. At your budget craisgslist is a very viable option.

That's the one I've pretty much settled on for when I move. Casco Bay has some Chesterfields and a much better selection of leathers IMO but the design is not nearly so well done. Which is a bummer because in person that vintage cigar leather is not really what I was looking for.

Didn't think I'd ever want to buy something from Restoration Hardware but those Chestys seem ok. Would rather have a vintage one, rather than a faux distressed one, but pretty nice....

Yeah those Chesterfields look great, but again, they are out of my budget at the moment.

Ok, I made a purchase yesterday and ended up going with a couch in a fabric twill. It's a little more modern then I was originally planning to buy, but I like it and the deal was really good.

The couch is a nice chocolate color. Part of me thinks I should have gone with a lighter cream they had to brighten up the room and make matching easier, but it's too late now.
