I wear a 9D in Allen Edmonds and a 8.5D in Alden (Cape Cod loafers). Can anyone advise on what size would fit me for these? I've bought a few pairs of shoes on the forum and the internet that haven't fit right and I'm desperate for hit!

No clue on those brands, but I went TTS.
This is now my most comfortable shoe, bar none.

These look spectacular in person.

Just got the 11.5W. Would say pretty true to size, but I have hard to fit feet.

These are on the 655 last. Plenty generous in the instep (11.5W is somewhat like a Barrie 11D). Notice that the toe box is pretty narrow from the cap forward, though, so by no means an apples-to-apples comparison to the blobbier American shoes.

to does that have worn these since purchasing, does the soft leather make them more susceptible to scratches, marks, creases, etc...? I love them, but I don't want something too sensitive.
