Just got in 29 pair of Gravati chocolate captoes. Love these, the leather is very soft. All sizes represented except 12 (sorry all you 12 guys, i'm a 12 also so I know what it's like). Gravati makes excellent shoes. My favorite shoes are Mantellassi but the single favorite pair of shoes in my closet is a chocolate Gravati!

sizes available: 8.5, 8.5W, 9, 9W, 9.5, 10, 10W, 10.5N, 10.5W, 11W, 11.5, 11.5W, 13. What a great price for Gravati. Each Gravati shoe is supposedly laid up to rest on the last for a week before completion.

I wear a 9.5E in AE, anyone know what i should go with for the Gravti? I'm i gonna be golden with the 9.5W?

Gravati is among if not the most comfortable shoes I own. Salesman told me to go down a full size. At the time I wasn't so sure about that. But it turns out that these shoes molded and stretched because the leather is so soft and pliant. Even on sale, I paid more than $250.

Damn that is a sweet looking shoe at what looks to be a great price....Anyone care to break down sizing? I'm not familiar with this brand.

This talk of sizing is distressing to me as I ordered the same size I wear in Allen Edmonds, 10.5. I will confirm the fit when they arrive next week.

my personal experience with shoes is this:
Mantellassi, Ferragamo, Gravati, Testoni. I find that the gravati fit me almost identical to my mantellassi. All are size 12. I'm surprised to see someone suggested (and it worked) dropping a full size. I can't imagine I could wear the Gravatis i have in a size 11. Hope that helps a little.

UPS just dropped mine off. For me they fit true to size. Very comfortable out of the box, and with a little stretch and break-in they will be perfect. I would definitely not size down. Beautiful shoes, highly recommended. Thanks discostu, and good luck everyone!
