No, I wasn't one of the folks who jumped on Dayton's recent goodwill gesture. These are the always-desired, often-wanted, and occasionally fantasized about W+H and Datyon collaboration.
The current Dayton thread in the SW&D area is even an OCD's nightmare, so I'll keep it simple:
Material: Charcoal nubuck. The flash accentuates the color; these would be mistaken for black boots by most people. Only next to another piece of black clothing do these really appear gray.
Tagged Size: US 11 / EU 44.5
Fits Like: US 12
Additional Sizing Information: I wear a 12 in most sneakers and usually an 11 in non-fashion type boots.
These fit well when I have an insole in them. Most of you know this already, but these don't come with an insole, leaving the buyer to decide whether or not to add one. I will say that they are wearable, but a bit loose on my feet if I don't put an insole of some sort in there. Most people opt to use an insole since you're essentially walking on wood without any.
Condition: Used, but no notable flaws. These came distressed, so you don't want to baby them like your average MC-level boot. These are ideal for more casual clothing outings.
The sole shows the obvious wear that's going to come with putting your foot to the outside world, but there are no visible cracks or anything like that. There's a very light gash in the heel on the left side of the boot, but it's a superficial blemish and nothing that's going to cause the boot to suddenly fall apart.
Additional Information: Comes with original box, so you can pretend you were cool enough to get these brand new.
