Yes, I actually know the guys that run the Tres bien shop. Despite all the pictures and the claims, they told me they do not carry Yuketen "E" widths. Actually, in europe, nobody has heard of "E" widths....shoes usually come only in one width for any given size. The Tres bien shop folks did, however, tell me that one of the advantages of Quoddy was that you could order directly from Quoddy, widths ranging from US B to US EEE....so it is more customizable. Quoddy is having quite the rep among the fashionista hipsters of London in particular.... Without publically divulging private jokes and private comments, the width issue has again to do with Yuketen's target market, where "E" widths are not really in demand.
Good god, man. No different widths in Europe? I guess all those size charts on Northamptonshire shoemakers websites are just for show. Just because the overwelming majority of shoes are manufactured to a certain width (as in the US as well), doesn't mean there are not different widths available. Your responses make you sound as if you're six years old.
