Windsor should be fine. Fairly regular trains and doesn't take that long to get there.

Really wouldn't bother with Stonehenge though. It's a lot longer a trip and these days you don't actually get to go in the circle, touch it or even get that close to it.

Nothing specific, just wondering what sort of touristy-honeymoony things we should get into outside the comfort of our hotel room. If we wanted to peoplewatch or window shop, where would you do it?

Marylebone's nice. Good shops, nice places to eat, close to Oxford Street but a lot quieter and it's a short walk up to Regents Park for a walk and a picnic. Similarly, Lamb's Conduit Street further east, though the park nearby isn't really a park, it's for children and it's not so generally convenient but it is very nice there. I don't know if her being a Tennant/Tate fan extends to generally being a fan of Dr Who in the post-Tennant era, but the Dr Who Experience is apparently very good. For museums I'd say, apart from the obvious ones, the Sir John Soanes, the Hunterian, the Wellcome Collection and Hornimans Museum. If you're looking for another restaurant I might recommend Clos Maggiore. The food is good, though you can probably find better for the money elsewhere, but it is really incredibly romantic.

Walks and picnics are right up our alley, given costs of the reservations and tickets we smalltimers have already procured. I picked up a couple of tickets to the Doctor Who Experience online just now; we're both fans, that should be amusing.

Thanks for the recs!

I don't think 4 days are enough to visit London and also both Windsor an Stonehenge (maybe you can find the time to visit 1 of them) so if I were you I would have spent my time in London, there are so many things to do and to visit, you can't waste the opportunity to visit the the Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the Tower Bridge, there are so many interesting Museum for free and some pictoresque Market as Portobello, Camden Town, the Borrow market, etc and on the way you should also visiting some parks, they're so wonderfuls.
I wish you a nice holiday
