What was the first compiled music in physical format did you buy by choice. Don't be shy now, and don't dare post something obscure and so untrue just to make you look cool.

Mine was this album, an audio cassette. an adult friend wanted to give me a cassette of my choice (for teh walkmanz) and this was what I chose.

and it sucked. balls.

Not a bad album. I was part of the Napster generation so record ownership was not big.

I was like 8 or so and I'd go out in the backyard and load this into the tape player, lower my rim to like 6 feet, and practice dunks for hours.

I am. I imagine most people are ashamed of the very first piece of music they ever owned.

Bought in 1985 as a CD. Had an old Yamaha three laser CD player that lasted for over 15 years.
