5/3 DROP - Fine and unusual English Gent's Leather Box - Has some age..

A superbly-patinated leather box, obviously English, perhaps for some gent's dress accessories? Fine impressed mark with the royal crest, and 'LONDON MAKE WARRANTED'. I'm not sure of age, but it obviously has some....and have had an opinion, or two, shared, so I"ll just make it 'offered as-you-see-it'.

Just a wonderful patina, that just can't be reproduced, fine latches, etc. Not sure just WHAT this was intended to contain/carry?

Physically nice condition, with just a bit of tearing at the ends of the cover. Very sound, though.

For display, desk-top or dresser-top storage of those fineries, or....an elegant way to carry accessories for travel.

YES, shortly after generating the listing in haste, I reconsidered and decided to leave more room from which to drop....and raised the price from the original $55. Didn't feel that that violated any in-good-faith practice or principle.... Had anyone contacted me, and related that they had seen the brief/original listing at the $55., and had interest at that price, it would have been offered, without any hesitation, at that price. IS my integrity, my honor-in-dealings being questioned here....??? ----------------- Yes, in response to one reply: UNSURE of age, does have some.....and, likely LOOKS earlier than it may actually be....?
