"Black SUIT with jeans". What do you mean here? Like a black suit jacket? If so, it might not work. Suit jackets are oftentimes too formal for this occasion. Look for a more casual sportcoat elsewhere.

That's not a suit jacket. That's some kinda bizarre modernized dinner jacket (tux). If you wanna look like Will.I.Am this probably isn't the best board for advice since most here would consider it blasphemy at best.

Black suit jacket with jeans? No, definitely no. Would look horrible with blue or dark wash jeans. If you had to don a black suit jacket with jeans, then something like brown jeans, dark tan, forest green jeans perhaps may work better. I dont know because I have never tried out combo's like this, nor intend to. Shoe matching would be difficult, with a black coat and then brown shoes (due to jean color and belt color), it would look a horrendous mess and everything you try will have to compensate for rather than accentuate the black jacket.

I would consider a less formal kind of black suit jacket as well. Perhaps a sport coat or odd jacket in a nailhead pattern, herringbone, etc ...

Don't do jeans. Go buy some cheap wool trousers if you have to.

No one is going to be able to help you with this because no one knows what you're talking about.

Do you mean a suit jacket with jeans, or are you talking about the jacket and vest from a suit, or what? A dinner jacket? It's probably going to look ridiculous.

Assuming we are talking about a black suit jacket / blazer / sport coat. As said before, you are screwed, it does not go with dark wash jeans. If it is Prom night, rent a tux. Problem solved.
