Here's the situation: My brother graduates from med school next month and he's insanely jealous of the three piece suits I've been getting custom made here in Seoul, so I'd like to get him a three piece suit as a graduation present. The problem is that due to my new job, and him moving to the east coast for residency, there's pretty much no way that we'll be able to link up so I can go with him to help pick it out, get fitted, etc.
My tailor here won't do it if the person can't do a fitting (already tried before my dad came here for my wedding), so I've been looking at online options in the US.
Has anyone heard of/tried out suitsupply.com? They don't have any three pieces, but it seems like it would easy to buy my brother, say, $1,000 in store credit there.
There's a place in KC, Jack Henry, where I bought my Alan Edmund shoes, but I hesitate to send him there to buy something off the rack without me there to help him out, plus I didn't really look at the suits there so I have no idea what they carry.
Another option might be Brooks Brothers... I've never bought anything from them before though so I'm clueless about them. I know they have B&M stores in/around KC though.
My budget's $1,000... I was thinking it would be nice if that included a decent pair of shoes (because he WON'T buy nice shoes of his own accord, I'm sure of it), but it's not a deal breaker.
Any ideas?
