Correct. They take long to become clear when you go indoors. Even when you are indoors, because of mild UV, your lenses will NEVER be totally clear. You know that guy in the office that looks shady? Well, look at his glasses and you'll probably notice that he has a slight tint in his lenses. hahaha....
Also as photochromatic lenses "age" they start to lose their ability to change colors. They won't get as dark, as well they won't become as clear.
Also keep in mind that it will not change colors in the car because of the UV filter on your windshield. (Unless you go with their new Driver Lens: goes from yellow to brown and is used in the car)
