02///m3,

if i am guessing right, your frames are in customs....

How about these?

Ehhhhhhhhhhhh, best one out of those is the third one and even then I wouldn't wear em. Then again, I'm not a fan of rimless/half-rimmed glasses, but if you like them go for it! I've been wearing contacts for the last 4-5 years, but I'm thinking of making the switch to glasses again. Anyone know of frames that look similar to the Oliver People's NDG-1 but not ~400 bucks? I'm a student so my budget is probably more around 150 max. Thanks!

Can anyone provide any info/pricepoints on Robert Marc stuff?

There is only one thing one needs to know about Robert M. eyewear - Spectacles for Humans does not carry it. Draw your own conclusions.
However, I do nominate them for the "The Emperor Has No Clothes" award.

Anyone here recognize these frames? Just watched the first (and unfortunately only) season of Studio 60, and I really liked these frames worn by Bradley Whitford.

Or if anyone can suggest frames that are roughly the same style and shape, that'd be appreciated too.

Hello. I know I am a newb. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this thread. I was wondering if anyone could identify the frames that Tom Chiarella (a writer for Esquire) is wearing here.

and here

They're hard to make out but the frame fronts are clear, and the temples black. The frame fronts kind of sweep down from the hinges (not to dissimilar from Buddy Holly frames).

Thanks guys.

Any modern versions of these?

I wouldn't normally do this.. but i must say, i cannot believe the low level of quality and design of the frames within the last page or two of this thread. I expect better from Style Forum.. People need to pay closer attention to what goes on their face. You don't buy $200 jeans, $300 shoes, then put some mass manufactured piece of plastic on your face. End Rant.

That is exactly the problem kiya. When it comes to buying glasses I don't know what to look for. If I want good denim I look for selvage, fit, chain stitching etc... Glasses? I just look for what might suit me.

Bump! I'm curious what folks are wearing these days.

Currently these are my every day- a rather brilliant orange...

And just ordere a pair of Paul Siths very similar in shape to these with a light matte tortoise frame.

currently I am wearing the Martin & Martin, Pauls:

Although mine are black grain

But since my prescription is about to be updated I am looking into either the O.P. Tycoons:

or (if I can find them somewhere) the LA Eyeworks Pick Up:

I'm thinking of purchasing this pair of Ogi frames in matte black. Anyone have experience with Ogi?
I had a pair- held up fine but I really grew to hate the wide temples- they block your peripherals too much for my liking.
