Yep, same measurements as the previous order. Didn't get to see him on my recent trip, as he was in Asia.

Do you pay 1000 per pant? If you did, would you expect them to be flawless and to receive a certain level of service?Anyone who EARNED their money would.
The $1000 figure that gets thrown around is a red herring. Some of his pants may cost that, but few do. Mine, for example, didn't nearly reach that figure.
As with many if not most tailors, the price depends on various factors, such as fabric, size of order, when you became a customer, if you order directly or through a third party, if you order in Naples or on tour, and if you will pick up or have them shipped.
Still, I do think there was something to Foo's complaints, and I hope he and Ambrosi are able to work something out. I made some suggestions to both of them back then, but I don't know what a perfect solution would be.

Handwork and visible stitiching marks are nice and all, but fru-fru is is fru-fru.
The fit is very similar, which makes sense, since Salvatore based the fit of my first order on the Chans I was wearing at the time in addition to his own measurements. The pairs from Ambrosi are noticeably more comfortable. But, as others have said, this could be due to changes in the cut, additional handwork (which is substantial), and/or different fabrics.
I'll post some comparison pics when I get some time.
