Really? A bespoke suit can easily cost $2500 and up. $1000 alone can be attributed to the cost of the pants. Not sure why bespoke odd trousers costing $1000 is that amazing.

I charge $1000 for a trouser these days but you just have to, a Dormeuil, Loro Piana or Lesser cloth is at least 130 a yard x2 yards thats 260 cost on just the cloth, add on the trimmings, labor, and then expense of making a pattern and doing a try on and theres very little margin left.

You bet. I just keep my head down and get the work out mainly, I do a six day week with 12 hour days as the norm. I put out 300 bespoke suits last year and will probably do the same this year. I would have liked to have increased that number this year, but I did set up an alterations business in January and that has taken up a lot of time.

Totally agree with the above - (leaving out the cream part, for which I fortunately have no use;) ) - But its so cheap to fly around Europe - so I see all my tailor visits as a chance to enjoy some new scenery ones in a while. Denmark to Rome, 66 Euros round trip - how they keep those planes in the air for that price is still a mystery to me.

But isn't the ass pain caused by the pents (with camel toe)?

I have a pair of pants (not from ambrosi) that does exactly the same - and yes, it is really uncomfortable !
