I would agree that foo is a bobble head, but the shape appears more rectangular than oval to me ...

Also it is not a good idea to be drinking too much sake and having jetlag and being angry at 2am and then writing on styleforum, it leads to regrettable mistakes like calling Matt an 'oval head'.... Sorry!

I just wanted to confirm that this is correct. We are going to meet during his October visit to New York and remake ten trousers. I'm glad things are moving in the right direction and am very hopeful. While getting my money back would have been one solution, the ideal would be to repair our relationship through a mutual understanding of the situation. After T4 went out of his way to mediate, I think that's what's happening, so I'm happy to wait and see.

I didn't gain weight after the trousers were made. I ordered the trousers (all eleven) because I had already gained weight and needed them to be made a bit larger around the waist as compared to my existing pattern. The first pair was made with this adjustment. The subsequent ones were not.

If it were not so, the first pair would not have been made with a larger waist to begin with.

Salvatore can confirm.

Mafoofan, why compromise? Just have a full refund and have it done with.

I think it's beautiful how this turned out. I really hope the best and would love to see Foo with 10 pairs of the best fitting pents ever, reunited.

Heartwarming. Styleforum the gift that keeps on giving. inlove.gif

All of this is fantastic, too bad it didn't happen 5 cm sooner.

Can T4--Style Forum's Ambassador to Naples--now turn his energies to getting Luigi Solito to come back to New York?

It may be worth it to keep the "wrong" pants for when you loose the weight. nod[1].gif

I hate to say this, but: I told you so.

I have no ill will against Solito, I have not lost on the transactions at all, if anything he has, because he insists that I not pay him until he returns. I like him so much that I want more stutf.

Yep. The subsequent pants were on-the-seam pockets, rather than slant.

If a tailor stopped visiting after promising to come, and I had to fly to his country to get my clothes (albeit, only pay him once I got there), I'd lose it.
