Are velvet blazers only worn by gays?

I love how the OP goes from asking his friends to asking another bunch of people.

Don't you see, what we say should not matter. Wear what you damn well feel like. Don't rely upon externals for status quo.

They're not gay, but I honestly think the look stinks. And guys, don't let anyone bully you out of your natural distaste for homosexuals.

well, your post is pretty ignorant either way you look at it.

That could be a good way to come out to your parents if you're scared.

*whispered* "Did you see the jacket Johnny's wearing? Dear God, what did we do wrong?!"

Awesome. I know I posted this in another thread, but I think it's more appropriate now than ever: http://www.waverlyfilms.com/gay.html

Actually, that will only make him bisexual. He needs to add the duckbilled Kenneth Cole to push him over to the chick lovin' side of things, uhm, yo.

Does your black friend hang out on top of bus kiosks?

There are some parallels in these stories, aren't there?

Yep, especially in the turn they both took about midway through. You know, when I was heading to Peet's for my morning coffee this a.m. I walked past a store window where the mannequins were all wearing velvet blazers. Didn't even faze me.

I was planning on watching Borat this weekend but I think I'll monitor this thread instead.

Ummmm Peet's coffee. It is strong. There is nothing like a good caffeine mule kick to the head and the really fantabulous apple walnut cake (ostensibly a "breakfast cake" but really good any time) from the great pie shop on my way to work to start the day out on a good note.

Sorry for the tangential post. I haven't had dinner yet.

Please, carry on your discussion about blazers, in supergay velvet or manly moleskin.
