Are velvet blazers only worn by gays?

there was absolutely nothing remotely homophobic or "gaybashing" about my op. i simply asked if gays are the only people who wear velvet blazers. it is an objective, clear, and unbiased question. i did not ask whether or not velvet blazers themselves are gay, nor did i ask whether or not i would become gay upon donning a velvet blazer.
well, your post is pretty ignorant either way you look at it.
i love gays; in fact, i find gays much more fun to hang out with than 90% of my straight friends. not every question or statement that has the word "gay" in it is mocking gays.
and this is classic. i'm CLEARLY not racist- i have a black friend!

obviously, its part of the gay uniform. non-gays are not allowed to wear velvet blazers or they will be attacked by the secret gay alliance.

I think that its this, and not the jacket, that makes one gay. I don't mind gay people, but I draw the line at "loving" them. (I try not to refer to them a "gays", btw. It's sort of like referring to the NBA as "The tall blacks with money...")

Yes, a velvet blazer will make you gay.
However, if you are wearing a boldly striped, untucked shirt under the velvet blazer, it is like an antivenin and you will not become gay.
Actually, that will only make him bisexual. He needs to add the duckbilled Kenneth Cole to push him over to the chick lovin' side of things, uhm, yo.

Yep, especially in the turn they both took about midway through. You know, when I was heading to Peet's for my morning coffee this a.m. I walked past a store window where the mannequins were all wearing velvet blazers. Didn't even faze me.

Ummmm Peet's coffee. It is strong. There is nothing like a good caffeine mule kick to the head and the really fantabulous apple walnut cake (ostensibly a "breakfast cake" but really good any time) from the great pie shop on my way to work to start the day out on a good note.
Sorry for the tangential post. I haven't had dinner yet.
Please, carry on your discussion about blazers, in supergay velvet or manly moleskin.
