I also have a FILSON 256 original briefcase in Otter green. Never used (maybe I can find the tags, but don't know where they are)

I would prefear trade it for a 257 instead of selling it. Anyway If I can't I would consider selling it.
Does anyone would trade it for a 257?

That Baracuta jacket is just fantastic. Unfortunately, no matter how many times I measure myself or my clothing, it still looks like it wouldn't fit me. Great colour. I wish single-breasted belted coats like that were easier to come by these days.

Do you think it'll be challenging for a tailor to fit the RLPL DB down to 36/38ish ?

I've had one suit sized down from a 40 to a 38... and it was a Hickey Freeman Madison 40 that I bought as one of my first nice suits but didn't know sizing well. I had it chopped to fit me and it cost me $185+tax and took over a month . The price wasn't bad, the job didn't come out terrible (also removed some of the padding), but there was a little wrinkling/ruffling one one of the sleeves from being reattached. I thought about having this done on a 40 Luciano Barbera double breasted sport coat I ended up selling here, but the tailor (a different one) estimated it would cost about $250 and he didn't really want to do it. A) it's expensive. B) they don't come out perfect C) you lose some of the "handwork" D) it's a double breasted sport coat and the fit is pretty damn important yet so easy to screw up if you're completely resizing it. Also, seeing as this is an older RLPL, I bet it's pretty bulky for a 40 as well. edit- then again, he has no shoulder measurements, but the shoulders don't actually look that wide surprisingly. If you don't have to cut the shoulders, it would probably make the job a lot cheaper and easier even though they'd still have to adjust the chest.
