Send an e-mail to Mina first to make sure she is in Naples that week, and to book a time:

Satriano 5 and Napoli su Misura are inside the same building. I have seen nsm name on the interphone when I was looking for Satriano 5 one.

For Rtw give Argenio a go or check out Spatarella in via Calabritto or in the Vomero area at Via Merliani. They carry Barba and Borrelli amongst other brands

there was some "warehouse" place nearby with borrelli shirts for $10 or so. someone remind us about that

No, still talking of Gabriella De L'Ero's Striano 5. Went by Piccolo's as well. It is a long running shirting fabric merchant but not sure for how long they have been making shirts. The one in the windows did not look really special like for example the ones in Argenio's window

A couple of pictures with the store display of Napoli's Argenio, Cesare Attolini and Piccolo.

Great Picts. Just to vlarify that I was comparing the actual finished shirts of the two shops rather that their window display.

That Argenio store, which I believe is less than 100 yards from Rubinacci, is a really cool. The guys that run it are from the old school. Picked up a beautiful scarf.

Great selection of unique tweeds.

Does Argenio sell cloth or just finished goods?
Both.
Awesome, thank you. I'm likely there in a few weeks and will stop by.

I should clarify. I thought of ties and accessories when you mentioned finished goods. I don't recall if they had RTW coats (I doubt it). They might have shirts. This is what I wrote about it shortly after my visit earlier this year. There is a similar store across the street.

I think this place is actually called Argenio. It seems they also have a website and it seems they sell accessories as well as cloth. http://www.salvatoreargenio.com/Home-eng.html There was a similar store across the street called Magnefique. http://www.magnifiquenapoli.com/eng/

No problem, I'm actually more interested in cloth. I've walked by several times and admired things they had in the window and was interested in browsing their cloth selection but wasn't sure if they sold cloth.
