For various reasons I now need to tote around more stuff than I can fit into jacket pockets. Weekdays I can cover it with my briefcase, but I need something nice-looking that I can carry this gear around in on weekends and evenings. To date I've been using a Crumpler laptop bag, which is too big and looks foul.
The bag could be smaller than a laptop bag - just needs to be big enough to hold wallet, keys, phone, and glasses, plus some other stuff that takes up about the same space as wallet+phone.
I'm not wedded to a shoulder bag - some kind of hand-held thing might work if it looks OK.
OK to pay up to $200-$300 for something nice.
