Saw it at the grocery store, and it looked interesting. It is certainly tasty, but I was wondering if the purported nutritional benefits are all they're cracked up to be.

The vitamins (like K2) in fermented foods like kefir become more plentiful or more concentrated (either by breaking down the food or by virtue of the bacteria outputting more nutrients), and more bioavailable.

Try swirling in some nut butter. You may also try full-fat greek yogurt if kefir is too tangy.

It actually adds a nice texture. I might recommend this line of products (you can find them at Whole Foods): http://livesuperfoods.com/artisana-m...ew-butter.html http://livesuperfoods.com/artisana-coconut-butter.html All of them are very delicious in yogurt, especially the coconut.
