I guess you could look at it that way, but I've had the set for a few years and only decided to sell it on eBay because I'm trying to get rid of stuff before I move.

i probably wouldn't be surprised if there is a large racketeering ring that operates a network with different ebay accounts and ip addresses, bids on high value items and then just files a dispute and sends back a box of rocks, and just keeps the cash and the items. The easiest place to steal these days is ebay, i'm surprised ppl haven't filed a class action suit on ebay for aiding and abetting scammers. technically they are a willing accomplice with their "buyer protection" that doesnt need actual proof.

the crazy part is the seller pays fees for accepting money and also gets screwed at the whim of the buyer! our fees should be buying some protection for us as well, it's simply ludicrous at this point.
