This Zegna tux is very cool; the silhouette is pretty dynamic in the one-button configuration with the broad lapels. I tried one on about 6 months ago and while in the end I decided on MTM from a different maker, this was largely because the fit didn't work out for my build and the alteration costs made MTM a better value proposition. But there's a slight air of Tom Ford about this tux (or would be, once altered to fit) which really surprised me as that's quite different to most Zegna. Really nice cut, if the measurements fit you. BTW, the one I tried on (which looks identical to this one) was Midnight Navy if I recall correctly, rather than pure black. I think that made it look even nicer. Any prospective buyers may want to double-check the colour with the seller.

Uh am I missing something? The tag inside and on the sleeve both say Z Zegna? Sexy tux tho

+1 tag appears to be Z Zegna. Not Mainline.

Are you sure? Those are mainline tags I think. A background Z was added (2-3?) years ago. But I think they're the correct tags for the regular line. Z Zegna tags have the background Z and just Zegna written in the foreground, rather than the full Ermenegildo Zegna, don't they? EDIT - I just went to my wardrobe to check: my most recent Zegna jacket is a Couture item from about 2 years ago. It has Ermenegildo Zegna and Couture written on it in white, but also the background Z in a kind of shadow effect. Taking the OP's poor photo quality and possible flash flare, I'm willing to give the benefit of doubt and say the background Z looks the same as in mine. Mine was bought at a Zegna boutique, btw, so no fake. I don't have anything more recent though.

those are definitely mainline tags. Z Zegna tags look more like this:
