I have for sale a superb example of Douglas Hayward's bespoke work from 1976.
It is a wool suit jacket with the wider lapels of that era, just over 4", in a John Hardy wool and would look great with black trousers or jeans.
The condition is excellent, I already own a 1974 example that I wear myself, although I could lose a few pounds for a better fit!
If you Google Doug Hayward you will get a sense of this charismatic tailor to the stars including Michael Caine, Roger Moore and Terence Stamp.
Two 1980's suits sold recently reached over £300.
This jacket is from the golden age of the '70s and I am asking £225 here before putting it on Ebay.
