My girlfriend went home this afternoon, Sunday, after a Friday and Saturday stay. She doesn't like NFL football anyway.

Tonight my dog gets back into bed( female Golden Retriver, a small one), I don't know if the dog is jealous or considerate, but she won't get into the bed when GF is sleeping over!

You know what, I missed that mutt in the bed. Was it Mark Twain that said. "Looking for unconditional love, get a dog!". He's right. GF provides things the dog doesn't( And don't go there!!!!!!), but GF sure bitches more than the dog!

BTW: GF is Betsy, dog is Sheba

Funny I sleep much better alone, without anyone next to me twisting, turning, and/or twitching.

Hey that was low man. You could have just said "maybe you like Velvet blazers" or "perhaps that velvet blazer keeps you company when you sleep"

my moms afraid to sleep alone but she drinks alot and takes pills and passes out and this helps her with the fear maybe.....

Sounds to me like you miss her, not that you're really "afraid." Perfectly normal, especially when you're in the puppy-love phase.

Hey Metro-

I hope you know I was only joking ..

I think you are right Kabert about missing my girl..its just not the same without someone to hold all the night through.

Arnold- its not good that your mom drinks and take pills because she's afraid thats not helping the real problem..but Im sorry I dont have an alternative solution to offer you.
