Are there home remedies for Acne that work?

I've pretty much used everything there is to use for acne. Accutane, proactiv, clean and clear, neutrogena (spelling?) and nothing works (yes i do wash my face every morning when i wake up and before i go to bed). i've been to countless doctors and taken many different pills and nothing has worked for me. Are there any home remedies that have worked for you that you might recommend? thanks!

Recently made a few changes that have eliminated my adult acne (have had acne all my life):

1) clean towel on pillow each night.
2) exercise 6 days/week
3) neutrogena face wash morning and night
4) 8 house sleep/night
5) haircut every two weeks
6) eliminated red meat, dairy, soda from diet

I've heard that a 20 day water fast can yield some pretty amazing results.

I've read of people eating a low carb diet and seeing their acne go away. I've also heard of vitamin D3 helping with the problem. If you look to take D3, liked this article as I believe it explains well how to supplement correctly. Getting vitamin D right http://www.heartscanblog.org/2010/01...n-d-right.html

I used to have pretty bad acne I stopped drinking soda, limited my dairy intake and started taking fish oil, along with shaving every day. This combo worked for me.

Taking showers works.

The only thing that works for stubborn acne is Accutane. It works in 99% cases. If you live in US you would have to buy it online.

Clean pillow case every night.

Shower twice a day, wash face with Cetaphil.

Drink a lot of milk, drink a lot of water, do not eat too much sodium, use the Burt's Bees willowbark salycic acid treatment.
