Need of some advice

Newb here, just got a real job and trying to dress myself without looking like a retard/douche/retarded douche. The pics below are a couple of the pieces of the beginning of my limited casual wardrobe. This is what I wear when I'm out and about on a weekend or something. It's very basic stuff obviously but I just wanted to make sure everything looks like it fits me right and looks moderately presentable.

I'm worried about the t-shirt (most of my t-shirts fit like this). Is it way too tight...tight but passable...fine? I don't want to look like that guy. I'm working on my arms but my chest is broader and more developed in relation to them...one size up fits the chest better but swallows my arms up. I feel REALLY thin when the sleeves are baggy. Anyway any advice, hate, recommendations (esp for my body type) would be greatly appreciated!

Seems a little tight in the chest but loose in the body. Try some athletic fit tees; they should fit your frame better.

You're asking for advice on t-shirts?

I have kind of a similar build--wide chest/back, slimish waist and relatively slim arms. I like American Apparel ts and I also like them a bit more form fitting myself.

The t looks passable...but honestly, it's a t-shirt. Do you like the way it fits? No? Try some others until you find some that compliment your build?

thanks ramp, I'll do some searching for those.

superego, seriously I feel like an old person with a question about internet explorer 7 stumbling into a forum full of computer programmers. I know this is absurd. This is all new to me so I just want to make sure I have the basics down before branching out. Thanks for the recommendation though, I've thought about checking out the AA in ATL. I will.

T fit looks unremarkable, prob a bit short.

It is incredible how bad t shirts are generally. How much money could it really cost to puke out a cheap, decent fitting t with proper length, nonstupid arms w/o tenting? It is the great puzzle of our times.

Shoes look like ass

Just post in waywt next time and let us beat on you. That is how it is done around here. You don't need a special thread for your thoughts and feelingz. I have been here since 08 and have started only 2 threads other than sales.

Don't see too much things wrong with it's fit, just that it's baggy around your waist. Once you workout more and your body has become what you desired, you could think about getting more fitted t-shirts...

Tee is two sizes too small.

special flower threads etc... get american apparel triblends, much more flattering than what you have on currently. New shoes, too.

+1

Too small in the shoulders and too short in length.

there shouldn't be a discussion of shoulders on a tshirt. there's no "right" or "wrong" fit in there.

Hello,

Could you please post a picture without the shirt? I need to properly assess your physical condition before I give proper fit advice.
