RED WING GT color change?

Hi guys,

I just received a brand new Red wing GT in black cherry.

The color is darker than it is usually shown in the picture.

I would like to use obenauf to treat it, but I afraid it would go darker, won't it?

If I keep wearing it, will it show more cherry (reddish) color? now it is almost black with shinny red hue...

Obenauf's LP will not make it darker.

i wish there were 24 redwing threads to ask in. i hear snoseal darkens things up quite well
