I've learned a lot on here about a number of things that I might not otherwise have known about. In between a lot of general conversation there have been some truly informative posts that have either provided an expanded understanding or perspective of a topic that I wasn't well versed on, or a provided information about a topic that I didn't know anything about at all. The trouble is keeping track of some of these. ITT: provide links to single posts that provided you with new knowledge or perspective. There was a thread about pegged currencies in CE that I found very informative. Also, countless posts from JLib and why about language and history.

i can't help but notice the irony of the SF educated being unable to spell 'education' in the thread title. Under normal circumstances I would change that, but, you know...somehow it seems sorta apt. PS - Fran's business lesson thread has been a forum high point for me, seriously.
