There's a fastidious quality to every photo of every step of the making of these boots. All the lines, cuts, stitches, everything, are so clean and even. What I appreciate about this is that usually no one sees this except for the maker, and indicates to me that the maker feels that everything must be done perfectly, with no sloppiness, for there to be the best shoe at the end of the process.

Sometimes, for the sake of education, people are willing to make sacrifices. Btw, in case people missed them the first time, there are pics of fit models from my boots and another person's pair of shoes on this thread.

This is so true, and it is very evident in the finished product.

I will definitely get another shoe or boot from DW, I'm just not sure what right now. Probably a shoe, since I have a pair of balmoral boots on order from AS and I'm not sure I need more than four boots. Although cowboy boots from DW would be a dream, even basic calfskin ones... hmm...

a very special design. probably, i liked the vass a little better. on the other hand, nothing beats the feeling of custom made product.

wear them in good health.
