I have also noticed the smell. Maybe Tony wipes his ass on all of the hides before lasting? At least I hope before lasting.

Yes I do prefer those. As you say photos sometimes distort the shape if you are not careful.

Oh okay I just took a shoot, since you have so many GG shoes I thought you might have a pair of loafers (really want to see them on somebody). I'm also thinking about the same one that's why. Yeah I heard about that pig-skin version before here. But hey how many GG shoes do you have, like 10?

one of the guys at wilkes in SF was wearing a pair in the green and it wasnt light, it looked dark brown to me.
I own, as previously shown, a pair of Gable, vintage racing green, first shoe in the front row. I think they look almost black when using them indoors .
