ime, half size down for GG is the way to go.

Their sizing guidance just stinks basically. 

 

I'm glad I got my first pair from Leffot, they were right on.

lol, that is correct. i have no idea why they dont fix it, i know numerous people have alerted them to the issue.

smart of you to go with leffot.

I visit Leffot probably far more often than I should.


Let me contribute my two cents worth to this discussion: I have both the wholecut Sinatra and the (wholecut) Chelsea boot Burnham, both on the DG73 last.  Both purchased from Leffot.  But for whatever reason, when I tried both pairs on I was a half size smaller with the Sinatra than the Burnham.  Again, same last.  

 

I also have the Rothschild on the DG70 so clearly that's a different last but I have it in the same size as the Burnham.

 

So for whatever reason the Sinatra fits better - for me - a half-size down.

my GGs are on the 71 and the 73, and an 11UK is perfect for me in both. due to the barneys size issue the ones i have in the 73 are an 11.5 and i need a dr schols insert to make them fit, an 11 would be right on the money. at least they were not too small.

Yeah, Barney's G&G feel generous in the toe box. Not enough to size down, atleast not in my case, but very confortable nonetheless
