i think at first glance, it looks like calf swims, on top of suede shoes.

Very impressive indeed, however, we are on the verge of crossing into a color palate that is very difficult to coordinate with 99% of mens sartorial wardrobes. Perhaps more forgiving on the casual side than the formal counterpart. I am more adventurous than most and my choices proves it, but this is too specific for my taste.
What do you think??
It's a beautiful shoe. But the bright blue suede would make it hard to wear. The perfect 200th shoe.
So Aportnoy should already have a pair then?
Since Tony was the creative director for EG, I think that's enough reason for Aportnoy to add G&G to his stable.
I've heard there are people who despise G&G for the way they left EG. But then I am not local to the Northampton shoe circles to know anything.
Scuttlebutt and roomers in the shoe making world...
Is it possible to change the color of the lining when you order a pair of G&G MTO
Like this pic?
And if i remember correctly i think i have seen some GG shoes with black bark soles is this possible trough there MTO option?
The blue with the electric blue suede would be extremely difficult to wear.
Blue in general is a difficult colour for shoes because you can't wear it with navy. It works well with grey and light washed blue, IME. My pair are 3 eyelet bluchers, which is one of the most versatile make-ups, and even then there's a limited range of pants and jeans I can wear them with. Grey jeans, grey pants, washed blue denims...that's about it. I was hoping they'd go with my taupe flannel trousers and they do sometimes but only in specific outfits.
That make-up is balmoral style so it's inherently formal, but the electric blue suede means one couldn't wear it with a grey suit because they'd stand out too much. I have a lot of interesting coloured shoes - green, blue, white nubuck etc - but I don't think shoes should ever be the focal point of the outfit. They should be nice details that people notice after they see the rest of your outfit.
I just can't see a situation where those shoes would blend in.
They'd perhaps work at night with grey trousers.
With vermillion red trousers, royal purple smoking jacket, and faded yellow shirts. Gotta go full peacock for that pair of peacock shoes
