is it purchaseable now?

No. The one you saw in my previous post is over 15 years old. However, they carry a new style every year like this one.

A few days ago there was a fantastic espresso colored captoe oxford with swans neck stitching on what looked like the GG-06 last in this thread, but now I can't seem to find it. Would whoever posted those mind re-posting the picture along with details?

Thanks!

Two more questions regarding this boot :)
1. Do you wear the same size as in GG oxfords? If no, size up or down?
2. What last is it?

1. No, in Oxfords, I go 1/2 size larger. Their Oxfords are on the fitted and tight side
2. This is a TG73 last

More (optional)...

I am a true US 13D, but I have found that I actually need a UK 12.5F (wide) or UK13E in all GG lasts including the Deco Last. I have a high instep and I tried several sizes from 12.5E,F to 13.5E.

I wear the same size in Oxfords as well, and I need 1/2 size larger when I order Monks. Their Oxfords are on the fitted and tight side. Try some in your size first. if you work with them, they will send you something in your size to try.

The Deco last is more generous and perhaps I will order my futire shoes in 12.5F.

This boot is made on the GG TG73 last, double leather soles in size 13.5E.

Thanks.

I own the Canterbury in 8E and i tried 7.5E first but it was way to tight. I have also tried one oxford in both 7.5E and 8E and 8E was a very good fit....i also have a high insteap.

Frank, have you tried a 7.5 F ? I find many clients benefit from going up in width instead of size.

Saratorial_Splender, the first few Decos that rolled out was a bit roomier than they were actually supposed to. The modified, latest version of the Deco last is more fitted than the "beta" one. If you have a high instep, then you can just ask for a modified fit. One of the perks of G&G.

You are correct. I received the last 2 few weeks ago and they are on the snug side, but fit well. I have the Deco Bowlly and Papworth in UK 13E.
Earlier models, Bates and Collcut were rommier, but I had GG made me leather inserts and they are fine now.
