Bespoke England is a site supporter and Nick will give you wonderful personal service, as well as offer you lasted trees (for a price). I highly recommend Bespoke England and Nick. I have no experience with the Armoury but they seem to be well regarded.

Actually, they can get you G&G lasted shoe trees for about 80GBP if you're willing to wait.

Did you get the Grants in the F width? I always assumed you were a standard width. Did you get hit with customs/duties?

Didn't know they would order the G&G trees for you.

My Grants were in standard width.

My foot is just a litte bit on the narrowish side - but not really a full width.

Customs duries - unfortunately yes. But at the time the price from E of M was so low I still came out well overall.

It says on their newer listings that lasted shoe trees are included.

I have a question concerning G&G for you guys since you seem to have the knowledge and the know-how. If one choses to go MTO, is there a possibility to chose the decorative perforations (brogueing) or is this only possible if one purchases bespoked shoes? If possible, how much is the add-on approximately?

Thanks in advance and thank you for letting us less knowledgeable learn from you guys. This thread is a true source of information thanks to you!

You can make some little changes, but flexibility basically depends on who you are working through (I have only used leffot) and what your changes are, but my sense is that it is basically done on a case-by-case basis.

Thank you for your answer. I'm planning on buying three pair of G&G from a reseller in Sweden nearby where I live. I'm hoping to modify the Cambridge shoe by adding some brogueing similar to the pair of G&G that kolecho is selling (which I would love to buy but the size is not right for me) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v197/kolecho/R0013103.jpg) but i didn't want to ask this from him if it's not possible. Now that I know it's possible I guess the least I could do is to ask.

How does it work when allowed to do some minor changes? I talk to the reseller and he reports back to England to ask them to do the changes? Well, I guess I'll know quiet in time. =)

+1. Nick is a great guy to work with. In the past I bought a couple of pairs of shoes, not G&G, from him. His service was excellent. My first pair of G&G, hopefully in the not too distant future, will be purchased from him.

DonRaphael; I'm the Swedish agent for G&G, just PM me or e-mail me at patrik@leavestung.com and I'll answer any questions you have regarding modifications. Are you going to Hans Allde or Davidsons?
