Hey Gents!

Taking my engagement photos this evening and these are the boots I've selected. I think they adequately represent the season, formality, and my personal style. I'm not the best shoe shiner...so if you guys can give me any pointers on how I can improve what I've spent hours working on, that constructive criticism is welcome. I have 4 hours to improve!

Thank you Justin! I gave it my all on the shine but it still pales in comparison to some of polishes ive been you post. I recall one such moment vividly as I reflexively slapped my monitor off of my deck in a moment of temporary frantic blindness. It was as if I had intently stared at the second coming of Christ himself from the center of our sun.

These are the Cotswold in brown patina. I think they're a relatively newer model but I could be wrong.

I think the shine looks great. Congrats. I know I don't comment much bc a lack of time but I sorta stay tuned with what's going on. When I shine I like to get a layer of neutral wax at the end to bring out the shine. But your shine looks great.

Very crispy !!! But don't do it to often, if the leather don't breathe it might crack on the long run.

I don't think one should have an issue as long as you apply wax at toebox and back heel area.

I usually suggest to remove anything ( like wax and shoe glazing ) at least twice a year. You clean the shoes with saphir soap and let them rejuvenate for 72H on the shoe trees without crean or anything. It really helps !!!

Got yea make sense I just have been using bick 4 or neutral cream not a whole lot of wax

Decidedly neutral-mood Monday. Holdens in mink suede.
