GG Westbury out of the box Guess what's peeking out of the box...

GG Westbury - with Saphir Navy cream Neus from the store even through in Saphir navy shoe cream! By the way, she's awesome - responsive and helpful. I think she mentioned she owns a Westbury pair, and provided advice on adding navy cream for deepening the dark burgundy shade.

GG Westbury profile With those wonderful red stained shoe trees only from the store smile.gif

GG Westbury wearing - top No time to change into dressier clothes, I gotta wear these now! Telework day, out-of-fashion bootleg jeans, no-show socks, and my new Westbury wholecuts in Vintage Rioja. 'cause f' it!

I think you just made me want to pull the trigger on a pair. So much for reducing spending haha. How do the shoe trees fit compared to fully lasted shoe trees? I'm unsure about the trees.

Hey Jonathan, the red-stained shoe trees are the standard non-lasted, just red. Fits the Westbury TG-73 just fine.

Hmmm, From a quick scan, they looked un-lasted and identical the unstained trees; on the bottom, the stamp indicates the size and "Made In England", no last type. Either way, I'm fine with the tree fit!

I was on the fence about getting the vintage cherry St. James II but I thought to myself.  If I had to have 1 pair of St James... go cherry or pearl grey.  So I just placed an order for deco st james pearl grey with purple lining

Those Connaught in 'criollo' is stunning. Too bad having already bought *2 pairs during the Brexit sale...lol.

Got in their site and tries to make MTM shoes, I noticed in alligator skins there is one with triple the price of the others. It is about 5K pounds for most of them except a gold and blue one which costs 18.000 pounds.

Does anyone know how comparable the gator pricing is to Edward Green & Saint Crispin?

I don't own but I'd have to agree. GG gator is out of this world. I've also never seen EG gator.

EG has gator but very limited options just google to see the pictures but Saint crispin and GG have more options vs eg, but GG gives you crazy amount of options but it also cost arm and leg lol
