Oh i know meermin is not cheap. I just found it funny that it was designated as Felipe ii also. I suppose that worked out great for Meermin bc at thd time the prince of spain was also called Felipe, now the king.

That´s the way I call them (Meermin uses numbers) in order not to be confuse with JL Philip II.  I am not a phoeny.

Lol I did google it, would be fairly funny if they actually name the model this way.

I have a second model, I name it Guillermo II, another copy from Meermin of JL William II DM booties. I think should Meermin call their copies as I do, JL would sue them for sure....But lets keep with G&G´s posts.

Interesting diversion, the last few posts! But back to G&Gs. PSA - Leffot has a few more styles in stock, including the Burnham chelsea, and it appears it has a small restock in Sinatras.

Dang it, if only that Burnham came in Vintage Rioja as RTW, I'd be all over it...

Does anyone find the GG06 last spacious enough that they do or could size down from the MH71 or TG73? (Just tapping the brain trust Roger.)

I had to go up a half a size on TG73 from all other G&G lasts.
I take the same size in GG06, MH71, DG70 and KN 14.
TG73 was just too tight for me in the toe box. If I had to do it over I would take the same size in TG73 but in wider fitting.

I've been looking at a Barclay for some time (Chestnut Hatch with some burnishing; Wensum sole; MH71).

For this model, would it be best to go my normal MH71 size (as if I was buying an oxford)? With it being a non-lace up I'm not sure if I will need to adjust my size slightly.

Has anyone with a Barclay (or similar model - e.g. Chelsea, Chester etc) found it a different fit?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
