No, I already had them when I got fit by Dean - he was the one who pointed out that I needed to go up in width rather than a half size up in length as I did for the Wigmores.  They never really fit well - not horribly, but not right - so I didn't wear them much and ended up selling them.  It was a lesson in not compromising on fit.

Ha..Well at least I remembered part of the story. Sorry to hear the rest of it...but indeed a good lesson...and one many of us here would benefit from...but human nature seems to state that everyone needs to experience the whole "trial and error" thing for themselves. :teach:

Love those! I saw those on Ebay and then they were taken down and replaced with something hideous.

That is the replacement for those beautiful St James. I linked a few of my buddies to the original auction and woke up to texts of "seriously?!". I couldn't believe the disapproval...Then I checked the link again...Enough said.

I think you'll have problems selling those for the price you're asking...

Time will tell. They are well worth more than that. Anyway, I have at home a pair of feet just waiting to dive into that beautiful butter soft suede if they don't sell.

I also find the resale value of most shoes, even new, abysmal.

You're asking more than retail...
